We really enjoyed our trip to Foxburrow Farm at the end of the summer term. Pond dipping was the highlight, where we managed to catch and identify a lot of newts, pond skaters and water snails. At the end of our pond dipping session, we carefully released all of the animals back into the pond. We also learnt about the important role bees play in the pollination of flowers and went on an invertebrate hunt.
