We went to Hilltop Residential Centre, near Sherringham in Norfolk to stay for a five day residential visit. The weather was not very kind to us abut we managed to have a great time in spite of the wind and cold! The motto for Hilltop is "Challenge by Choice" and all the children took this to heart and were brilliant at encouraging each other to take one more step towards their own personal goal they set themselves. This might have been to swing from the trees way up in the sky or to step onto the first rung of the ladder! The experiences and activities we took part in included: Big Zipper, High Ropes, Tree Top Trail, Wide games, Team building skills, fire building, den making, orienteering, Air jump and the Climbing Wall. After a year with lockdowns, we were so thrilled to get away and do such exciting things together and it was a very special week of memory building and fun.
