The Platinum Jubilee
Published 28/09/22The whole school spent a lovely day celebrating the Queen's Platinum Jubilee on the school field with our families. All children and teachers came into school dressed in the clothing of one of the decades of the Queen's reign. After eating fish and chips and ice-cream for lunch, each class performed a maypole dance. The children entered cakes into the Jubilee cake baking competition which were judged with prizes handed out. We showed parents our Jubilee art work and time-line which was then displayed in Dennington Church during the Jubilee weekend.
